Children Are Special Patients
We encourage children to visit us from an early age to help avoid tooth decay. They can register before any teeth erupt and can benefit from fissure sealants. A fissure sealant is a plastic material used to seal the grooves in the biting surface of back teeth. We usually seal the permanent back teeth in children. The fissure sealants help protect teeth from decay.

If your child has crowded or protruded teeth we will be happy to refer you to an orthodontist for specialist treatment if necessary.
Custom made gum shields are available if your child plays contact sports. Please ask your dentist for more details
